What LED Power Supply do I need?

There are two main things to consider when calculating what LED Power Supply, you need for your project, The voltage of the LED’s and the wattage per meter.

The simplest way to work what power supply you will need, is (X = Watts Per Meter x Meters) so take your watts per meter, and times that by how many meters your using, always leave a little head room.

A standard 24V LED tape, running at 14.4 Watts per meter, and using 5 meters would be 14.4 x 5, this gives us our total wattage of 72 watts.
